In e-commerce, search can take place in several ways.

The simplest search ca be accessed directly in the search box.

PHONETIC SEARCH

The search takes into account different spelling variants, for example Christer and Krister.

The search that gives the exact match is displayed at the top of the search result.

If you enter several keywords, an assessment is made of each word.

The result is summed to determine how high up in the search result the article should be displayed.

 

SEARCH IN SMALL AND CAPITAL LETTERS

It does not matter if lowercase or uppercase letters are used in the search.
